The man with the rifle and pipe is the famous George Adamson, who introduced Christian to the wild. He, unfortunately, was murdered by poachers in 1989. i just watched this again and have many versions and love this one too. love knows no bounds. it is a pity they could not have kept christian as i fear he may have beeen too loving and not survived in africa. I hope they make a movie about christian, ace and john. john is writing a book that i will look forward to.

I've seen the other "Christian the Lion" versions, but this is soooo sweet with the extra footage. Especially, as Christian is driven off to his destiny in the wild ... the hug ... the note on the door, etc. GREAT JOB!!!
