No idiot, recirculating valves do exactly what they sound like... they recirculate the air to the turbo, on the side of the turbo that air is supposed to come from. This keeps the turbo spooled while your foot isn't on the gas and improves turbo response time. Because it "RECIRCULATES" the air, you don't get blow-back into the turbine and you don't damage the turbo.

Do you think car engineers don't think about this kind of stuff when designing cars lol?

Ok but if your running at high boost and u just take your foot off the gas all the extra air has to go somewhere and if your dont have a blow off valve in a car with alot of boost the air will go back through the turbo and there will be excess wear .

No they don't. You need it to be circulated, makes the car run bad because the air isn't recirculated. It comes with a bypass valve. I have an HKS SSQ as well. It helps prevent boost leak with higher than stock boost.
