ps: Russian aircrafts that are used in other countries are usually older technology and obsolete. Plus, Arabs and others got get such sophisticated training as Russian pilots do

you should dig deeper they actualy were doing quite well against the f15 as well. find it kind of funny that this operation went on at the same time the airforce was asking congress for the money to get the f22? what it did show is that the f15 and f16 were badly outclassed when enemy had a better aircraft and skilled pilots. and it must have worked because now they got their new toys. so while we argue about who has the better death machine they jack our taxes up and cut spending elsewhere to pay for it. so now rusia will build a better jey then the americans will and so on.

Russian have got the edge on the US planes easily. The US say the sr71 blackbird was taken out of service due to it not being needed anymore, when in fact mig 25s/31s were gettin very close to taking them out. The US is all about propaganda with the sr71 saying how fast and high it goes... a modified mig 25 did mach 3 and went to 123,000 ft compared to a sr71s 90,000 ft...

yes the mig 25 atained a higher altitude speed was comparable but the sr71 has been clocked at mach 3.2. this however is redundant. even if the mig was able to go mach3.5 by the time it is launched the sr 71 is out of range. this would also work the other way if the americans had built the yf 12 basicly an sr 71 with misiles. somthing else to remember is that each time the mig did this amazing performance and it truley was amazing they had to rebuild the engines. besides why use an sr 71 when I am sure they have stealth aircraft we have no idea about. and i have no doubt that goes both ways.

The planes have some simmilarity in controlls but in weapon arsinal and mission types they are very different.

Russian planes are by "far' more supirior than Americans and carry much more arsenal. Everyone in the world knows that.

Why do 3d world countries buy our planes? It is simple, why would they pay big azz money for something thats eats 2x of gas and breaks 2x more??? The answer is obvouos, Russian plance are more practical, easier to mantain and much cheaper! In fact Americans never did anything better in terms of military equipment, throughout the whole history

you get what you pay for.Russian weapons are cheaper for a reason.They are not as good.

The Raptor is the best fighter in the world, noone can say no! But its lost a few advantages of manuvuelbility for its stealth capability! For real combat, i think the pilot in the raptor have alot advantages over Su. Anyway, I have to admit that looking the Su do its demon fly is more exciting than the raptor :-)
