For a MAKE video, this is more like the original Kipkay videos we have come to expect from the 21 century's answer to "MacGuyver". This project has all the elements. Fast, Fun, Useful, and Cheap enough for the common man on a weekend project. Thanks for hearing me Kipkay! Glad to see some good has come of your joint venture with MAKE!

How strong is that 1 dollar tripod? I seen one like it, but I would hate for it to break and drop the camera.

Or you could just do it to a dashboard and then go through you mother boad and find good connections and place a camera even out side your car or get fancy with it :) and put a control mount for only like $35 bucks to have inside you car with a controller and a t.v screen easy all you need is 3, red(volume) white(volume) and then the display itself (yellow) But way to go hey I was wondering what kind of car do you have lol :p

Anyways I used a "Serious Satellite Radio" Window Mount for the "Serious" Receiver. It works Great & Has the same Center Pivot screw already there too!
"Window Mounted Dash Cam" I guess.

Every drive to work is like a NASCAR race, may as well record the mayhem.
