    It was a terrible day for both Liverpool and Juventus and football as a whole, but that tragedy and a few others in the 80's started the decline of football hooliganism in England, the big clubs in the premiership would no longer allow it and policing got much tighter at the top games, ok there is still alot of football violence especially in the lower leagues and in Italy, Poland Russia etc but it is diminishing and hopefully will one day be a thing of the past

    and they were deservedly punished and many a hooligan went to prison for a very long time because of their actions, what it wasnt just the scousers who were at fault, the organisation of the final was a shambles and the stadium was falling down and there was a also a minority of itatilan football hooligans that also contributed to the disater

    not making excuses for the liverpool hooligans they were at fault and they did get punished, im just saying that there is more than one side to the story.

      You are not understanding what he is saying. He is not talking about murder, R**e , etc. He is talking about you never see this kind of violence in a US based sporting event. Have you seen anyone get this violent with such a large crowd at hockey, basketball or football? Only European people do that.
