If you have the means and the training to enjoy SCUBA diving, you should have enough sense to enjoy nature and disturb the flora and fauna as little as possible.

I suggest that the people who made this video make their next trip to the Arctic or the Rocky Mountains and play with the bears.

Not it's not just for fun, pufferfish like this one are not very good swimmers. They cannot get away from dumb humans like you think they can. They are use to stay still and if somebody messes with them, they puff up. But when they have to puff up, they blood pressure goes sky high and they can suffer a stroke. My Scuba instructor told me he used to do what the guy is doing back in the days but now he stopped because one time the pufferfish just died on the spot while they were "playing with it". So no, the fish won't learn anything and he may just die.

Furthermore, as a scuba diver, on thing that you should always remember is that you are a guest in their world and that you should not interfere in anyway with their lives.

Too bad a great white doesn't come "have fun" with the diver

Who'd be stupid enough to put their finger in a puffer fish mouth. They take toes and fingers off with one bite. They bite fish hooks in half easily. They are a nuisance fish to fisherman but this is wrong. Doenst look like they are very experienced at all.

If you are so conserned about how the guy acts why don't you contact the poster and get the guys name and address and his dive schedule so you can go to the 20 or 30 foot depth and nock on his face mask and tell him about it. He may show you why he is at the top of the food chain.
