  • That vid is 100% correct.

    Been there, did that.
    A good sniper team can make a vast difference in a spec. ops. squad getting away. We often ran ops with many factions of military even to include Air Force.
    The only real draw back to being in a sniper unit in Nam was being ostracized by the regular legs. We operated alone in many cases and were away for weeks at a time. I did 3 HALOs to reach operation area. Then had to hump an average of 25 miles for extraction. We also did not have the .50 Cal rifle either.

    I had had the pleasure of working alonside some of the best guys that have one of the worst jobs you could possibly imagine. But then again if you think about it the Intel that the Snipers gather and report back to HQ, it is so vital in a combat situation it ends up saving multiple lives of the people that we love and care about. They are quiet and selfcontained, they never talk about thir work and we never bring it home. It's just another day at the office.

    They are the best of the BEST. Good video. But that is only a small part of their job. Their is much more to it. Normal sivilians will not understand. Believe me. Try to look threw a scope and see somebody you dont know, die by your hand. That is a nightmare for years thereafter. Long sleepless nights.

    First, of all we only have to shoot at the children because they are taught in their schools to hate America and are used as human shields for their coward parents.
    Second, US snipers don’t just kill any innocent civilians they gather info most of the time they only fire under 2 circumstances 1- to protect a fellow solder from a threat or 2- when they are ordered to take out a MILITARY TARGET. So you hypocrites are making yourselves sound like victims but are wishing to see an American nuclear holocaust on tv.

    And if u guys haven’t noticed you are not getting any American dollars WE ARE TAKING YOUR OIL.

      You have a point. A sniper won't make a difference between shooting a child or shooting an adult if that individual is running at them with a demo belt attached ready to push the detonater button, or firing off an ak-101 at them. Like he said the sniper feels no emotion while carrying out their task. It's not cruel. If you were ever to kill someone with a sniper rifle you'd understand.

      And what most of the idiots posting negatively on this video don't realize is that most of there very own countries also have teams just like this. The difference is in some of their countries the snipers target their own people who don't agree with thier government or terroristic ways.

      And it just so happens to be that our teams are the best at what they do, whether it be collecting intel 90% of the time or in the case of the other 10%, pulling the trigger and taking out the bad guy.

      You don't enjoy killing. You don't feel happy about killing a person with a sniper rifle. You don't feel sad, either. You just do it , without even feeling malice towards the person that is behind your crosshairs. I enjoy my job as well. Technically you're not murdering whoever you shoot. Mureder means to kill intentionally while holding malice or hatred against someone.

    he done loads of missions. but he has only killed about 6 ppl.
    me ive killed about 20 and 1/4 of the amount of missions he has.
    snipers pave the way for a succefull mission.
