      Hes god of football. if he takes drugs he does it in his spare time and not while he was playing football, most of peles goals was for shite teams before he became famous.     He had skill, but no sportsmanship, as can be said about so many argentinians today unfortunately.
    The hand of god is only a small part of his cheating career, infact that's not a big deal anyway, it was the refree's fault for giving it to him, very few players would have denied the goal themselves.
    But true sportsman are like ronaldinho today, I am not a big fan of him or brazil, but always admire his/their honesty, decency on the pitch.
    Indeed Pele, Beckenbauer, Zidane, Platini are among the greats...as are many others

    not the best. the best dont cheat or do drugs. look at pele, backenbauer, or zidane. those are truly the best players because they played with talent, soul, intelligence and honesty. sometimes a little temperamental, but never on performance enhancers or power trips. like i said, maradona was an amazing player, but not the best.

      zidane doesn't cheat. in his career he got 13 red cards and should've had many many more. not even badass vinnie jones got that many reds. you could make a long compilation of zidanes great skills, but the list of his terrible fouls is just as long. maradona never deliberately hurt another player.
