  • My guess is that the cat is NOT drunk.

    A few years ago, my cat got into a bad habit of chewing at his skin until he made himself bleed. After doing lots of tests, it was clear that he was not suffering any skin problem and that it was just a bad habit. Long story short: My cat was prescribed a low dose of Valium. At even a low dose (half a pill), the effects were almost immediate, and it looked just like this video. It was hilarious. So before you jump on your animal rights crusade, investigate the facts. Call ANY vet for a reinforcement of what I just told you.

    I dont know what you did to that poor cat, but you outta be ashamed of yourself. You obviously don't realize the seriousness of feeding alcohol to an animal. They are more susceptible to the effects of alcohol than people are, and they can easily die from alcohol poisoning. I hope the ASPCA hears of this.

      If my guess is correct they didn't do anything bad to the cat. I believe its just the after effect of the anesthesia after a cat gets neutered. My cat did the same thing after we got him fixed. He was alright in a day or two.

      The cat was at the vet before, we didn't do anything wrong with Kitty. She slept some hours, woke up and was a little "drunken".
