ATTN EVERY ONE! plz donot visit, work, invest in dubai.. UAE has a history of human right violation...foreign workers r treated as third class citizen, people on lower wages have to wait 6 months b4 they get paid, and domestic workers r regularly abused, physically and verbally, and if reported these poor workers face deportation;where in public sector there are separate ques for foriegeners and nationals, dont b lured by dubai's projects. HUMAN RIGHT VIOLATIONS SHUD STOP! FULL STOP! UAE OR US!

Dubai is really bloated out of proportion. No doubt it has given a living to multitudes of expatriates. But the good old dubai is vanishing. Expatriates with no good pay, benefits and rising rents are unable to stay here for long. Thanks to america, we have the financial meltdown, throwing thousands of respectable people on to the streets, with no money to pay for their loans and rents. The Government needst to be supportive of such workers who have really struggled here. There are many professionals now with no job prospects and huge debts unable to pay. This moment there seems to be no exit. With the current laws, you will have more number of people behind the bars. Will the government dubai which has been always looking towards the interest of the expats come and save the millions of educated, hardworking, workers from drowning in the pool of financial meltdown.

ya Dubai is beautiful and it might might be one of the best developed city in the world BUT the living there is expensive and the traffic jam will make you sick and hate it !!!!!

Dude i thought the same thing but the gas price is increasing because of refinery problem here in US and there revenue to the economy from gas is 10 %.

yeah if you have a profit of about 500 billion dollars just in oil revenue alone a month of course your country is going to look lik gold. U pull the oil from this country and u will see the people and the business will be flocking out lik putting water in an ant hole. Theese artifial arabs countries lik dubai and qatar bahrain they have no research centers, no universities they hav nothing to fall back on!!! If u dont hav education in a country it will not progress.
