    firstly, I want to say that osetia is part of georgia, as abkazia. osetian separatists, like kokoiti, are being supported by russia. about 10 days ago started war between ossetia (russia) and georgia. to stop this awfull fact, Saakashvili stopped firing to russian solders. that used russians and starting not only zone of conflict, but whole georgia !!! which is continuing todays too. You should see some information web sites and you'll see the true.
