      excellent movie i would say but for the woman part, surely we do have the most beautiful woman but in Romania a women is respected as a sister, wife and mother not a display thing like the rest of the world.Romania has a great history, clean culture and intelligent people.

      Yes, it's a great movie but I find sad that all the achievements are from before second world war. Nothing new. Romania from today dos no count in the world. No science, no much for culture, no personalities. Only a bunch of stupid manele to destroy what was left from our traditions. Sad.

    comes from the Romans. They conquered Dacia and romanized it so fast the name became Romania. So the Romans started it all. Or was it the Greeks, having influenced Rome so much? Or was it the Egyptians, or the Sumerians, or.... Wake up!

      Daca esti un pic atent ai sa remarci ca nu despre valoarea Romaniei de azi este vorba in film. Este vorba de Romania anilor interbelici care era o cu totul alta Romanie. Una pe care nu o meritam. Una pentru care nu facem nimic ca sa o meritam. Nimic din Romania moderna nu este remarcabil in sens pozitiv. Stiinta este ca si inexistenta, cultura este la pamant, traditiile sunt ingropate de manele si de limbajul tiganizat. Trist. Pacat.

    yes i am a romanian Its a nice place. "Cimitirul vesel"=Happy Graveyard and a lot of traditional place. U can visit the Dracula's Castel. We have many beautiful women :D. Nicoleta Luciu, Andreea Banica, Andreea Marin. so we love this country .

  • How great it once was.

    The history of Romania is full of greatness I agree but after the Second World War it got worse and worse. It's not worth living in such a country. And yes most people will try to rip you off. Like they did with my car. They said the car is new. And it was new, that's if you don't consider the fact that the car was used by the manager of the dealership. He just went on a vacation with it and then he tried selling the car like it was a new one. Now what's wrong in that? Anyway that's just one of thousands of examples.
