Baseball : the Most Boring Sport on Earth

I agree, not bad to play, well so-so at least. To watch- the ultimate nightmare. Take these guys and all the cricket players and pro dart players and just launch 'em all into the sun. Thank god we won't have to watch it at the 2012 Olympics. Plus their outfits are so cheezy.

First of all the rest of the world is to broad of a statement. most of the asian countries, Cuba, Mexico, Central America and the Dominican Republic play alot of Baseball. I agree that it can be long and slow at times but now worse than Crickett. I am an american who appreciates Futbol and American Football, But to be totaly honest I prefer Hockey and golf to them all, but that's why there are so many sports, so we can all choose whatever floats our respective boats.
Don't be so quick to bash others, there is enough of that already in the world. Just agree to disagree on what you find entertaining.

baseball is about the worst sport out there i mean yeah soccer S**ks but at least something is happening in it baseball well it just S**ks all the time steriods was the best thing to happen to it made more home runs and atleast a lil interesting but that got taken away

I never did understand why people watched this game. Ranks up there with going to church. Must be out of tradition or something. Why else is it still around.

Baseball is very interesting. It isn't a mass of people running around all over the place in a frenzy. It requires amazing skill to hit 100 mph fastballs to make plays that defy the coordination of 95% of the humans on the earth. I played it for well over 15 yrs from the time I was a Little Leaguer and like anything else it takes effort to gain the skills and participate at higher levels of play. There is a reason it is America's favorite past time. True, europe has soccer, most countries that don't have a lot of real estate and kids who can't afford a glove can usually swing soccer, hurley, or sports that don't require much equipment and make up the difference with a lot of running around when the only skill is kick ball into big box at end of the field. What you grow up with you tend to put a halo effect on it. I've lived in both places and even in Ireland now they are gravitating to baseball more and more as they get the exposure to it they didn't realize existed before.

Baseball is by far not the most exciting but GOLF IS MORE BORING THAN BASEBALL i mean c'mon ur not even allowed to cheer untill given times...

I dont know why a lot of people talk shitt About Baseball... For me it is the best sport Two Reason!!! 1) Im dominican And we are the best In this sport If you dont believe me You have to see The games But also there are a lot of good players from different countries.
