I took this video in the Hôtel de Ville of Paris while I was Ice Skating in the end of february 2008.

In this clip you can notice both the expert and the beginner Ice Skaters .

Every winter, a large ice-rink is created outside the Hôtel de Ville to delight Parisians and tourists alike. Not only is skating the perfect way to spend a winter's afternoon, but the experience is also free.

The Hôtel de Ville building itself is a notable landmark, acting as the seat for the Mayor of Paris.
