In this video "Modnic" one of our most recent tiger rescues is sedated in order to have a skin growth removed from one of her shoulders. This can then be examined to determine what it is and if she will need any further treatment. Whilst "Modnic" was sedated we moved her to a new enclosure which is twice the size of her old one, where she will be reunited with "Trucha" her sister next week. Performing surgery on Big Cats is never an easy thing , but Big Cat Rescue staff and volunteers certainly make it look that way.
