Just made mine and they spin like a treat.

One thing I didn't like about the video is that I had visions of that blade slipping. And it doesn't half hurt when it slices through finger.

Only thing I could say is to turn over the CD and make the cuts from that side too to weaken the CD.

aside from using old stuffs to other things..u are also recycling in the other hand...well done... but i wud also like to ask if the edges of the cd are safe...better make sure...

At first I was curious as to the point of doing this when you can already throw cds far. It ended up being pretty cool! Nice video.

I like how you're reusing things you already have, but what's the purpose of these spinners? I can frisbee a CD without any materials, without any cutting, and without spending my time... it's a disc, you can just throw it, and get pretty good distance, too. It looks like you're just making it less aerodynamic and removing 2/3 of the mass, giving it less "oomph" when thrown.

...but only a lil shabbily done...from 0.15-0.50 u were only tryin to cut the CD...u cud,ve fast forwarded it a bit...a very cool idea tho...

it's an interesting project, but u wreck your foundation layer when cutting piece the CD. U should work on glass, man....
