This tutorial, im showing you how to make your copy of windows xp genuine. and how to download wmp 11 through the microsoft website.

The instructions for making it genuine:

1)start-run-(regedit)(without the quotes of course)

2)go to the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMICROSOFTWindows NTCurrentVersionWPAEventsOOBETimer
and doubleclick on it. Then change some of the value data, anything. Edit, delete or type.
now close out regedit.

3)go to start-run-(%systemroot%system32oobems[no space]oobe.exe /a) (again, dont type the quotes)

4)the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.

5)Press UPDATE key and close the window. Now try downloading a genuine software from microsoft.com , like wmp 11. Before the download, they'll ask you to validate xp. If you go through this validate process, then your xp is genuine.
