using liquid to take heat out of an object is great, but what is taking the heat out of the oil? You are just heating the oil and it is not dissapating any heat.

Oil does not support as much friction in the molecules as water does this is why we use Oil in Engines. It stays cool for longer and it cools off faster than water. It is also not a direct current conductor which means it is not affected by electricity as water is.

Well you gotta look at how much surface area you have. The whole tank is like a heat sink. Its like a radiator in a car (somewhat) Thats the only way i can see it dispersing heat. To bad my PC is a laptop! LOL

I would not want to up grade that machine, like ram or HD or the video card either but very cool nonetheless.

Which one is lighter, mineral oil or water? If water, then we can use ice cube to cool the oil. Or maybe we can use nitrogen rest assure about the condense.
