Probably producer might want to threaten the commoner. Is he asking us to stop living as we are now. He knows well this is evolution and it will happen. If he is so concerned, he should have proposed clearly what to do and what not to. Everyone on this earth live as the way the nature leads them. Everything here on earth is natural, the creation and the destruction. After all human beings are also animals and belong to mother nature.

Actually, from what I've read and learned, the entire solar system is going through a 'global warming'. Some say it's the sun growing warmer.

Nevertheless, if we were at the tail end of the last ice age and the glaciers in Yosemite Valley began shrinking, we'd be running around like chickens with our heads cut off, worried that our world, as we know it, was changing.

I agree with several of the post, which stated that this is just a natural process of things. The earth is bigger than we are; it has been around far longer than we have, it is suffered meteor hits, worldwide floods, and a host of other catastrophes, yet it’s still teeming with life!

Although I am not a scientist and can only speculate, I believe the earth might be trying to return to the way it was before the Yucatan (sp) meteor destroyed 2/3 of all life. That HAD to have affected the earth's rotation and angle to the sun, even by just a few degrees. Our planet is in a sweet spot right now. One or two degrees farther away or closer would make a huge difference in our environment and climate. Though it wouldn't have happened immediately, that meteor could have forced our planet to take a wider path around the sun. So, maybe earth trying to get back to its original orbit?

Again, I'm not a scientist, so you can write it off it you think it's bunk but, hmm...food for thought, nonetheless. :0)

The ocean currents control earths weather patterns.
The warmer currents push into the polar regions and cause the ice to melt.
The colder ice melt pushes the warmer currents back into their respective patterns and the polar region icepacks begin to grow again.
Then ... it all begins again

what are you people tlking about?! there is evidence that we have to do a lot with global warming. of course the earth does it naturally yet we speed it up where the hell do u think all that carbon dioxide released from 3.2 billion cars in the world goes to? a group of ppl in my school did the green house effect experiment, we had a 200 square feet green house with a puound of co2 being released inside evry 5 hours. after 3 days the temp went up to 133.2f and normally it should have been 89f and u tell me theres no evidence that we help global warming?!

about 1400 yrs ago, quran was revelaed and was telling all this will happened to mark end of the world before judgement day, but peoples till today think is a joke, refer o quran 81:06 and 82:03, talking into bit detail of what will happened, even sun will be in same orbit as the moon, what a hell.

with the ever growing global warming, but I would like to offer a rebutal. Are you implying that we get our fresh drinking water only from the arctic? Are you suggesting that it will quit raining in about 20 years from now? Much ice has already melted and as of today we have our beaches at the same level. Some ice is floating over water while some of it is over land. Melting land ice might have some impact on our beach levels while melting ice over water will not.
Grab a glass of water and add ice cubes. wait till it melts and the water level is almost the same.

First of There really isn't anything we can do to stop global warming now now at least... and second the next world war will not be over water because if global warming does take out all the ice there will be alot of water.. and its not going to be gone in 10 to 15 years not all that water it would take alot more then that and by that time 1 of 2 things will happen another Ice age or people will die of starvation due to the very hot weather killing all the plants and animals because of the ozone layer will be burn away and the suns very harmful rays will shine in and burn 100 times as worse then it does now so say in 2025 if the ice is gone and no ice age and stuff.. and say you step outside of your house you would have 3rd degree burns within seconds... and alot more stuff but im not going to get into it on here.

Global warming can't be stopped, it's our world progressing over time. But we can of course slow it down, such as cutting all coal factories, but good luck with that with China. Us using a Toyota Prius doesn't help the environment, techinically, yes it does but so many people would have to buy one for it to make a small difference. China's coal factories give out as many emissions as 3 Billion For Explorers. Talk to them. Remember people, nothing can stay the same, it has to get old sooner or later. The Earth will change, deal with it.
