The wisdom of bringing a the mid-size Kia Borrego SUV to market this late in the game and this deep in a gas-price crisis are both very real issues. But the 2009 Kia Borrego manages to offset both arguments against it with competitive pricing, good fuel economy for the class, and a smart interior execution. The Kia Borrego may not be the three-row SUV you end up with, but it certainly merits a long look and a relaxed test drive.
