American football players are bigger, faster, stronger, and despite the gear they wear there has been many more permanent injuries in football than rugby.       you're nowhere near as big as him and probs wouldnt need as much energy, plus, he uses a hell of a lot more on a daily basis than you would do weekly. Secondly, didn't you hear "Viral Infection". Would have weekened him even further, and later on in the report they belive he collapsed due to De-hydration. just all these conditions came together to bring him down!
