I never cease to be amazed at the utterly stupid stunts that people attempt in order to achieve a little bit of notoriety. You can only do these kinds of things a certain number of times before you achieve that notoriety by having your name listed in the obituaries. Keep it up and cleanse the gene pool.

i m an engineer who works on these excavators, its very stupid to try doing this. he was pure lucky. average RPM on these m/cns are around 12 to 16 and that looked like a 20T excavator to me, viz with 140+ HP, Its crazy as any slip or mechanical/ hydraulic failure could have caused this guy his life...or a slip by the operator, imagine if he had just sneezed and pressed the left joy stick in the wrong direction bring the guy to a crushing thump on the ground... toooo crazy to even try
