mr monday blatantly ignored the first amendment rights of those two fellows, their freedom of expression. its completely legal to burn the flag

If you sit at the table and partake of the food provided to you by the people who died in honor of that flag, then you are required to say "Thank You". If you do not, regardless of what politics you disagree with today. Then you are an ungrateful, selfish, self centered, childish, uninformed, brat of a PIG.

but that doesn't mean that I am not thankful for those who have defended their lives for this country. simply put, these two men have the completely freedom to express their views in any way which suits them, it is wrong and in fact illegal to rob them of this right

Mr. Monday has those same rights too. He didn’t take away their rights; he was simply expressing his own. Is he not allowed his freedom of expression?

    • cazzer548 good point but... by cazzer548, 1207363579 Report sent Spam Reply Thumbs Up Thumbs Down

on his own? yeah sure, go for it! I would totally support that, but while limiting others? thats not cool. the only irrefutable argument for Mr. Monday was that he was worried about the fire hazard or the trespassing on the field, the two laws that the guys broke, but as shown in the interview, that was not the case

  • armymom Thank you Mr. Monday by armymom, 1192879188 Report sent Spam Reply Thumbs Up Thumbs Down

I was 12 in 1976. Now I have a 22 yr old son serving in Iraq. I didn't now about what you did at the time but seeing it today, I thank you because your actions that day you honored the son I hadn't even dreamed of at the time. I hope you understand how proud I am to be an American and to have raised an American Soldier.

Anyone who has ever taken pride in the country never stops, regardless of its actions. I wouldn't expect anyone from outside the country to understand. guess what... I was born in America, I will always be from America, and I will gladly die here in America.

There never has been a tes of racial or cultural purity to declare an American, it is truely one of the few countries that one can go to an become an American. This is the reason for the vast contributions to modern life made by people of all races, religions, and both genders that have been made by Americans.
We have the freedom to make our own political mistakes and not love our leadership but still respect our institutions that make us proud, even when we do not agree with our government. So, it is to those petty, churlish runts I extend my middle finger on both hands and accompany that gesture with a hardy F*** You moron!!!!

I was born in America. I'm an American citizen and proud of it. The same people who rip America would jump on the next plane over and immigrate.

i bet he regrets saving the flag now.i would never say i was born in america if i was american.

There are even more people now in America who would do what he did. I can tell you this, he doesnt regret it, will never regret it and reguardless of how our American media makes it look, America is prouder today than ever before. Unfortunately, our media chooses to show the world only the newswothy stories. Happy, content and proud does not make the news.

That's the great thing about our country, you can leave it at anytime you don't like it or are embarrassed to be an American. Our ancestors left Europe because it was not a good place to live. You canalways go back.
