  • Experience

By the way, Abe Lincoln had less experience than Obama.
He's widely considered the best president ever. Look it up.

Would you do Sarah? And I would.

Your response to her choice is to vote for the most inexperienced Presidential candidate in history.

    • I agree with you.

I don't understand how they can say she has no experience, but Obama does. Just doesn't ad up.
Sure Obama voted for a bill to allow sex education for K - 12 students (by age), which gives him some experience, but did he ever have command over a whole state, including the Nat. Guard?

    • "a whole state"

what for 18 months? Do you know what she supports? What she believes in and stands for? Do you know her policies? Do you think she is fit to run the country?

By sassafrasx 1221123591 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • And how much experience

did Obama have when he became a presidential candidate? From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but 143 days is a lot less than 2 years. Plus a Govoner has much more responsibility than a Senator.
Anyways, everybody has been comparing Palin to Obama... Comparing a VP candidate to a Presidential candidate, kind of weird don't you think?
Personally I think the left is scared of Palin and that she is as good as they say she is.
I agree with her and what she stands for, more than I do McCain. This is why I will be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket this time around.

    • 9 out of 43 presidents died in office

so we have a 20% chance she will rule the country in the next for years. Obama was a community organizer, getting people health care, fighting poverty. Palin is a creationist and doesn't believe in sex ed. even with a knocked up daughter. Having a Vice President who is deluded about basic aspects of reality would not be exactly reassuring. And really the governer of a state with less people than San Fransico impresses you. She's in big oils pocket. McCain IS bush 90% of the time. He votes no 10 times for health care for vets and body armor. McCain/Palin. Of course I'm scared of Palin. I'm scared of anyone that thinks the world in 4000 years old. Neither Palin or McCain are good for America. Unless you think it's all just dandy right now. And beside, just saying someone is governer, isn't really talking about their politics. which the republican don't really seem to get into. Her pork bill spending. Creationism in school. No sex ed. Letting big oil drill OUR wildlife refuges. Not wanting polar bears to be considered endangered although they obviously are. Doesn't believe global warming is man made. etc. etc. etc.

    • and also

The polar bear population has grown over the last few years.
Also, over the last 100+ years the overall temperature fluctuations are in tune with the number of sun spots. Coincidence? I don't think so

    • Are you kdding?

I'd love for you to cite your references. You won't be able to. how does it help you to defend the purely unscientific idea that global warming isn't real? Every civilized nation knows this and has scientist working frantically to address the issue. You think this is paranoia? Read a freaking book or science blog. please, man, we can't afford to have people as mislead as you are.

    • So, since she is a Christian

she is not qualified. Do you not know that this country was founded on Christian principles? Why shouldn't schools teach creationism along side evolution? Teach both and let them decide which they want to believe in. I am against the sex ed that Obama is for. I don't want my 5 year old learning about sex. Are you against teaching abstinence? And before you cocme back with it was to protect against sexual predators, which it is, but they also teach them different anatomy, homosexuality, intercourse, etc. And yes I did my research.
She put a windfall tax on the oil companies (the money went to the State) which Obama is all for windfall tax and trickle down economics, so you should be ok with this.
Alaska might have a lower population, but she still has the same duties as any other Gov. She is in charge of the Alaskan Nat. Guard and has gone against her own party to change things within her own state.
There is so much more that she has done and will do.

By BloodBoughtinc 1221164089 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Obama for trickle down economics?

You did your research? Trickle down economics is what Ronald Reagan started and George Bush and the GOP perpetuate. It's giving the treasury away to the rich and hoping it trickles down to everyone else. Obama and Biden will stop the gusher of money flowing upwards, from the middle class to the uber rich!

    • Which country?

This country is not founded on religious principals. Not at all. Don't try to hijack that. Do we punish adultery with death? No. That's the bible not the consitution. Your right to worship is protected. My right to seperation of church and state is as well. And if you really think we should teach both science and mythicism in school, no thanks. I do think we should teach the creation stories of the hindu, buddist, pagan, and ever other silly idea that has graced the earth. it's not about letting kids decide for themselves. Education offers the best of what humanity has learned. If kids decide for themselves i imagine they would soon conclude the world is flat and the boggie man was real because it looks or feels that way. Not a chance on earth anyone is teaching my kids these age old ideas that the world was created by a higher being. There's oldschool "mccain" and darkages "palin." Don't waste my time, I'm not taking a step backward. And do you think teaching abstinece works? even with palin's shinning example of sucess? be realistic. Hey, i understand being worried about your kid and sexual issues, but there is a reality to face, some people are gay, babies are made by intercourse, you know... science. And republicans don't really believe in trickle down economics. omg. Wages are Stagnant as Prices Rise. is that trickle down? obama belives in tax cuts for the middle class, not the weathly. and so what about the windfall tax in alaska. Republicans in Congress this June united to defeat a proposed windfall tax on oil companies, deriding it as a bad idea that would discourage investment in U.S. oil exploration. in August. yeah. palin made money for alaska, cashing in on the high gas prices in the lower 48, while at the same time taking money from the feds, her bridge to nowhere, which to never returned after it got shot down. In charge on the National Guard? So what? It comes with the position.

But the Associated Press reports today that under Palin’s leadership, the Alaska National Guard has experienced a “crisis level” personnel shortage:

[S]ix months ago, Air Force Maj. Gen. Craig Campbell, the Alaska Guard’s top officer, warned in an internal memo that “missions are at risk.” The lack of qualified airmen, Campbell said, “has reached a crisis level.” Way to go Palin! All 1,850 men. There are 5 times as many NYC cops on the street everyday. Get real.

Please do more research. These are the same people that are in office now. Republicans. The love oil, war, and screwing the american people. The largest trade deficit and debt ever.

    • Why don't you do more research

Christianity and religion are not the same thing. I totally support the seperation of Church & State, but I still have moral issues and values that come into play when picking a canidate.
So, it's easier to believe that all of a sudden BOOM! out of nowhere, here we are!
The Bible is not mythical, majority of the stories, people & events have been proven to be factual. So, don't give me that crap.
A******n is murder, plain and simple. Also I think if a "fetus" is born alive during an A******n , then measures should be taken to help that child. Not sust toss it aside and let it die because letting the child live might upset the mother.
Many other things come into play as well.

The majority of middle class don't pay much income tax, they usually get most of it back. I'm middle class and I get back pretty much what we pay in. I can't see how it is fair to punish the rich for making something of themsleves and working to be rich. Meanwhile the lazy SOB who diesn't want to get his lazy butt off the couch and get a job or jobs gets a check in the mail from the almighty Obama. Can we say Socialism!
Don't come crying to me when your 9 year old little girl comes home and says she's been hurt because they decided to try something they learned about in school. You'll see the number of pregnancies increase and the age of the girls decrease.

Don't waste my time, I'm not going to sit here and let you liberals ruin our country and turn it into some socialistic country.
I know the economy isn't great, trust me, I own a small business, I feel it firsthand, but I still don't think Obamas plan is going to help us much. Actually since I have a small business, it will probably hurt with his plan.

    • I hate to tell you.

But Christianity is a religion. Specifically a monotheist religion that derived out of Judeism that worships the God Yahweh. but maybe i misunderstood what you meant. About your stance on A******n , i agree, it probably isn't right in the long run, but i also don't think eating animals probably isn't right as well. And i surely don't think killing adults and children with families in iraq is right or a good polictal foreign policy.

And as far a taxes. Just ask yourself where 500 billion a year of that money goes? War. I think this goes against all ethical and religious principals.

And this comment is just stupid and in bad taste. "Don't come crying to me when your 9 year old little girl comes home and says she's been hurt because they decided to try something they learned about in school."

So, let me ask you, what stories, peoples, and events have proven to be factual? That woman is made to serve man? How bout the story of when God told Moses to kill the Midianites? But moses' men spared the woman and children, and that made him made so he told them....

      Numbers

31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

So you believe that story to be true and still you would like to hold christian beliefs up as a banner of morality for this country?

This kind of wrath, genocide, and amoral teachings have no place in a modern world.

    • What I was meaning

is that religion in general has hurt Christianity. Some get so involved with the religion of a certain denomination that they lose sight of the real meaning. They focus on the rules of the "Church" and not on what God is telling them. Which is why there are so many hypocrites. I guess I just worded it wrong. I didn't mean to come across like an idiot.

I think equating A******n with eating animals is in poor taste.

Sorry you think that one comment was in bad taste, but that is the sort of thing that will happen if they teach sex ed to children who are too young to hear it. Actually that might be minor. I aso think you'll see an increase in R**e .

You quote a lot of the Old Testament.
What about the patience of Job or the romance of Song of Solomon? The bravery of David.

Anyways, if you know about christianity you would know that we are no longer to live by the "old law" (old testament), but the new law law which is in Christ Jesus.

We refer back to the Old Testament, but most live by the New Testament laws.

BTW, in reference to the "women submit to your husbands" quote, if you keep reading it goes on to say, "and husbands submit to your wives."

I think we'll have to agree to disagree.

And may the best man win!

hear the latest. he wants to teach the kindergarten kids sex ed. before kindergarden. read the news. he's a class act, don't ya think.. who would vote for for this joker.

    • You fool

That proposal had to do with teaching little kids to defend themselves against sexual predators. There was no sex ed for 5 year olds. If you are going to comment, at least understand the issues.

    • Dishonest

This was a bill to protect kids from sexual preditors. Then mccain says it's sex ed for kids? And you just believe it without doing the research?

"It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls - a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn't define what honor was. Now we know why," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

Do you actually do research before you post? Or are you just paid by republicans to smear. sorry friend. We americans are too smart for you garbage and we are getting you out of our white house.

  • How good looking is she?

Hmmm. Where did you find these photos? I can't find anything but the media propaganda that began on Aug 29, 2008. I have found a few articles dated back to 2006. It's almost like she was only recently "created" . For someone who has had so many newsworthy events in her life there just isn't much coverage of her past. I suggest people dig for info on this woman before making any decisions. As to her beauty...no comment.
