that humans do not have a tapetum lucidum. a tapetum lucidum is the reflective layer immediately behind the retina of cat's, dog's, lemur's, and other animals that can see at night. they are able to see at night because the tapetum lucidum reflects back the image, doubling the amount of light. this reflection is visible when a light is shone in such an animal's eye, and produces a set of eyes that appear to "glow." now i don't know any humans that have night vision, so my gamble is either that sh*t is real, or someone is gettin a kick out of their hoax.
