  • Converting is not a crime

    Recently in Egypt, Christian hooligans violently demonstrated because a wife of a priest converted to Islam. The Orthodox Pope even made a sort of a strike. The state set a committee of Christian & Muslim scholars, who talked with the woman. She confirmed publically that it was her will. However, the unrest continued. The Pope however got his way by taking her to a monstry. Nobody heard about her then. Some say they killed her.
    Hooligans exist everywhee!

  • Converting is not a crime

    If someone is forbidden to convert, he may become a pretentious element in the society of that religion. Any religion hates pretentious people.
    Islam or any religion is not a heritage, it is a choice. However hooligans make a fuss about it. Here in Egypt both Muslim & Christian hooligans make converting a big issue.
    Abu Bakr (BUH) fought the converting tribes because of national security, as they were attacking Muslims inside the state, not because of converting itself.
