      This was done in AutoCad Inventor, this is some pretty hard core animation, I did a disc breaks in school and it took me like two months to do, and this guy did a whole engine with animation thats even harder, this get 10/5 all the way. Good job.

    there is two parts to this screensaver this is only the first part that shows the assembly. the other part actually shows the engine while its running and shows the cam and crank shafts turning, pistons reciprocating the intake and exhaust valves opening and closing,fuel injection, spark plugs igniting the fuel, the whole thing

    • Actually a Mazda engine.

      As far as I know it was originally a Mazda motor. Ford owns a part in Mazda so they adopted them and are selling 'em as Ford.

      The Mazdaspeed DISI version of this engine, 2.3 Litre intercooled turbo with the fuel injected straight into the cumbustion chambers, is a VERY impressive powerplant.

      It's got 184 KWs and 380 Nms stock- and it's possible to squeeze a bit more out of it with some modifications. A very light weight engine too, I might add.

      As others have pointed out, the motor in the video is a gasoline one and Deutz don't make gasoline motors....well maybe they did some 50 years ago or so, ...but not anymore.

My name is sado working in Deutz Gulf and i have certificates from Deutz Koln .. i have never seen this engine before . Can u realize that its a petrol engine while Deutz Produce Diesel and Gas engines ...

    Which model is that 912 , 913 , 1011 , 1012 , 1013 , 2012 , 2013 , 1015 , 616 , 909 , 910 , 2015 , 413 , 513 , 914 , 1008 , 2008 , 2009 ????

    Man,with my dads luck, if he and i tried to build something like that, even if we orderd everything correctly, nothing would fit, the bolts would some how come up missing, the gaskets would be dry rotted, or any number of things that could happen. then he'd get pissed and try to hit the metal and break some fingers, wouldnt be able to work cuz he works with his hands, miss the car payments, and the car that we were building the engine for in the first place would be repo'd.
    so thats why, if we can afford it, we just get a new car
