    Where did drifting come from, There has always been racing, but I think drifting came from video games. Somebody saw the style(which drifting has probably always been a style of racing--like sprint cars), but they saw that and said, "hey I can get rich by creating a circuit with a point system. And now Japan has embraced drifting as a type of race. I mean you dont hear alot about Drift racing in the USA. It's big on the west coast, but thats about it. And whipping donuts is not drifting, any body can do that.

      actaully.... drifting all started in japan, not in video games... if you ever heard of the anime called Initial D, its actually pretty old now, which simply means that drifting is fairly old its self, and to have someone make an anime out of it, makes it all older. the Americas just basily imported that idea just like the way we get every thing from china o_O lolXD
