    What he did not mention in the video was what kind of camera to use. From my research you need an infrared sensing camera (almost all cameras will pickup IR) and an IR lightsource within the box. The camera he was using mush have had nightvision IR lights on it or something of the sort. I used a basic webcam andit ended up doing nothing. Tomorrow I am going to look for IR lights to place in the box. Hope that works. If this does not work I am going to make an IR pen to use with my wiimote and pretty much turn my screen into a touch screen.

    man,this is a stupid ideea, don`t waste your time with this.
    1: a touchpad has also click-option,but if u press that paper,how does the pc know if u press and hold on it or u just put the hand on it?
    2: the webcam just make videos or film urself ; the pc will never know what he films; a touchpad has infrared sensors.
    So he has a wireless mouse connected to the laptop,and somebody else makes the effects.

      A touch pad does use infrared but the click function simply operates with the movement sensors, if you put your finger on a visual button and then pulled it back the program translates it as a click. only if there is a button, so you think this wont work because you dont anything about touchpads. this is exactly how they work, and is a old technology, about 20 years old.
