    the subaru is amazing... its not stock as you can hear and see... but the audi is a 12 cylinder where the subaru is a 4 cylinder, if you have 2 compair price classes the audi is in a much higher class than the audi, so you can even compair the 2 cars, just take it as it is the audi got its ass kicked by a much more affordable car, even tho is had some mods done.... face it.... subaru is the BEST!!!!!!!!

      ok, The Audi R8 (assuming this is NOT the Diesel one that HASN'T come out yet) is a V8, like Ptah said, straight outta the RS. The STI of this year starts at $34k. The R8 starts at $108k. It's more, but then again you get a lot more car. This STI with it's modification probably totals up to AT LEAST $70K. It looks and sounds Drag Race-Ready. But liek I said DRAG RACE-READY. Yeah anyone can push 600 horses out of an engine, putting it to the road and making the car able to go around corners is a different story. Not to mention its an f-ing subaru. I GUARANTEE you this car will understeer like no other and kill you the first time you go around a corner with it. Meanwhile the R8 will glide through gracefully.

    Ok, I'm gonna put this nicely. First of all an Audi R8 has Quattro, which is AWD. That STI is not at all stock, it's a drag racer. By the sound, the wing, and the back defuser you can easily tell it isn't stock. The only bone stock Jap car that can beat an Audi R8 is the new Nissan GTR. German > Japanese.

    first of all a Stock suburue might be able to beat the r8 off the line becuase of the 4wd but in the long run no that one looked and sounded like aftermarket parts were added to make it faster and better. So i firmly believe that if the suburu was completely stock it would loose.
