The guy on the left is a judge. Our greatest expectation of him is that he be truthful. He gave his judgement and included important advice for later performances. He said; "Change your hair, change your dress, change your shoes and you will win this tournament. I have never heard a voice like that on an 11year old in my life. You came on this stage and you blew us away. I don’t think we should even bother to vote." Everything he said is truthful, positive, relevant and constructive. None of it is rude.

Like Simon of American Idol, this guy is being real. She's 11 and looks like she is going to church. Thats fine, but for a compition like this she need to look like she is going to prom. Espeicially with that voice. I am happy to have read that she won. I wished now that I had seen the other shows to see the build up. Just wait I am sure at about 17 or 18 she will pop up again.

I think that you are correct that the judge could have been a bit nicer than he was. However, hasn't anyone here ever heard of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM? Anyone who gives speeches, sings, or performs in any other way should expect and value criticism, provided it has a point. Besides, this is just the judge's private opinion. If you want to argue why he's a judge, that's different. But he is one, and he's entitled to his opinion.

That was amazing, I only wish I could hear her sing in her proper range more (alto). The higher notes were shaky. All in all, really nice voice. Let's just cross our fingers and hope she doesn't lose it when it changes (mine changed until I was about 17...she's got a lot of time to go through before she's safe)

Nah, Celine's voice is lovely, but won't blow you off the stage. Streisand sure will, as will Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, and Sarah Mclachlan. You'd be surprised that Sarah has a world-class voice but only gives glimpses of it on CD. This little girl here, with some training and time, can be among the best.
