It's pretty easy to do really. Cats are pretty smart creatures. I taught her how to do some tricks as well. :)

At my house from myanmar, i have five cats.All my cats can do that, too. All you need to do is to take your cat to the place where you want it to do that while it is finding the place. Then, try to touch its butt to the place. The cat will be going to the place again after being trained for two or three times.

As other animals, cats can be trained to do many kinds of things. A trained animal may create the illusion of intelligence when in fact no intelligence is involved, but merely habit and simple physical actions. Many examples can be seen both in pets and in the wild, such as dogs which can smell explosives or drugs, birds which can sing and speak and circus animals. In the wild we can see these habits in animals escaping from a predator (or lurking one), playing with one another, etc.
In this case, there's a special kitten pot which can be installed on the top of the toilet, to get the cat used to doing what it needs to do at that location. After a while the little pot is removed but the habit is already remembered in the cat's brain and thus it continues without the pot, to its owner's satisfaction.

you aready accomplished the hard part.
But make sure the cat gets a food treat for doing this or you can lose it.
Just hang/tape a toy on the flusher, and when the cat reaches for it, treat.
Then help the process so the cat realizes the level causes the flush that he like to play with, and he'll be flushing the toilet all day long!
