  • How to stop a dogfight...

    Throw a blanket over the dogs (works for most fights that aren't very intense)
    Hose them (which they tried in the video and it didn't work)
    Grab the dogs by their lower abdomen (risky unless you know what you're doing)

    It looked to me that the dog needed to be neutered, which is the owners fault. Notice how the attacking dog's tail is wagging? He wasn't going for blood, he was trying to dominate. This fight could have easily been stopped.

    I am from Hungary. I own two pitbulls and 2 cats. They are the most loving animals on this fuc.ked up planet. They live in the same house since birth...the cats are somewhat older than the pitbulls, but the dog NEVER EVER growled at any of my cats. Pitbulls dont attack anything or anybody without a good reason. I dont know who was the owner of this dog but we was probably someone i would never let to have a dog. PUNISH THE DEED NOT THE BREED! Any kind of dog can attack a person...and pitbull is not the kind thats the most dangerous. Don't tell me that if you stand in front of a german shepard with a stick and u hit the dog he wont attack you. I tell u that if I stand right next to any of my 2 pitbulls ynd i tell them not to move you can beat them to death! They wont even move an inch away! I hope all people who buy pitbulls, german shepards, rottweilers, dobermans, bull dogs, boxers or any kind of dog, that can cause harm for the reason to make the dog fight and attack other animals GETS KILLED! Once I was walking with one of my dogs and she got attacked by a "kuvasz"...it an original hungarian breed, about 1,5 times bigger than a german shepard. Its was a huge dog. I let my pitbull off the chain, and he was standing there not growling or doing anything, just looking at the dog. She stood right next to me and didnt leave until i said: "GO!"...then she went to that F**king monster and pretty much ripped the S**t in pieces without even getting bit once. Pitbulls are very nice, loving, caring dogs...the people of the BIG FREE UNITED STATES should let them live and say no to BSL(Breed Specific Legislation).I love my dogs...if I would live in the USA and someone would come up to me, that I have to put them in sleep I will probably act like a pitbull of a REALLY BAD OWNER (PITBULLS ARE NOT bad, THE OWNERS ARE!!!!!)off chain...I would rip the guy in pieces...The whole USA is saying that fake propaganda, that that is the country of freedom. I spent a year in the counrty of freedom...and there was nothing free, most of the white people i met were assholes...im not sayin all of them though...im not talking in general...i met lots of black people too...I was in Honolulu, HI and in NYC too. I lived in Erie, PA. for the rest of the year...I am 19 years old, and my dogs are winning Dog Shows all the time...I wish I could post pictures here! I am a normal guy, I love to travel, I love to party...I am almost straight B...almost because I have A's too...:)Yeah...I am going to the BEST Hungarian Military University from august. So Im not a monster and my dogs arent ones either. Thank You for reading, and sorry for writing that much. :) Hope You guys can share Your opinions in a way like this too...and not bitchin at people only because they like something that you dont.       A kuvasz is basically like a golden retriever, why would u call it a monster? I would hope a pit bull would win, a kuvasz would lose in a fight against a freakin cat... Why in the world would u have ur dog attack it? What it looked scary playing with its ball? Pit bulls are agressive dogs. While yes many reasons for pit bull attacks are because of bad owners such as the ones raising the dogs for fighting, even ordinary pet pitbulls with half descent training are rockets ready go off. You argued that pit bulls are good dogs in the same paragraph as u describing how u had ur pitbull attack, basically a helpless golden retriever type dog. I mean i love dogs and I dont think pit bulls should all be killed or anything but pit bull owners have to realize that their dogs are a little overly agressive, trained or not, and while yes they can be trained, other dogs dont even need training to be kind dogs. And the worse thing they would do if u said go, is walk up to the other dog and sniff its butt.

      Pit bulls simply have more of their wild instinct than some other dogs. Just as how even a tiger or bear trained from birth can be easily set off and revert back to its natural ways. Other dogs simply dont have that instinct in them any more, or they do but its much more difficult to bring out of them. Every breed of dog has its own personalities. Some dogs are naturally more energetic. Some are more playful. Some like swimming, some dont. And some are more agressive that others.

      And next time u have ur dog attack another dog, why dont u pick a dog that actually knows how to fight back... Find a Mastiff, American Rottweiler or even a german shep.

      I agree that pit bulls can be dangerous depending on the environment they grew up. I have a pit bull mastif (huge dog) mixed and he is a very sweet dog until the pool man comes over. But stil i would never let him attack another dog or person for that matter. That is very cruel.

      Pitbulls, Once the "american Dog", do not "lockjaw". This is incorrect. Pitbulls do have very strong jaws, yet not nearly as strong as a mastiff or a rottwiler for example. Infact, If a dogs jaw "locked" It wouldn't be categorized as a "dog"; it would fall under a different species.

      Also, german sheppards, dalmations, and poodles, are 50 percent more likely to attack a human, than a pitbull.

      Pitbulls are territorial, as well as very protective, this is why they were brought to war with american soldiers in the past. They would not leave their owner, and would carry a full grown soldier to safety.

      85% or pitbull attacks aare not in fact pitbulls. There are over 20 different bredds that are commonly mistaken for pitbulls. As well, if you are against pitbulls, you are also against bull terriers, bull dogs, boxers, amongst others, since they are all variations of the same breed.

      I am definately opposed to any scum who trains their dog to fight. I would put them to sleep rather than the dog. The dog only does what its told.

    I have 2 pitbulls and i love em to death, they are gods gift, i like other dogs to but ive never met any like mine. iv been wanting to breed them but im worried about finding responsible owners not just because things could go wrong if there in the wrong hands but because there like my grandchildren and it would be hard to give them up to just anybody no matter the breed.. my dogs can be very effective at killing in fact alot more effective than that one shown, however i am a responsible owner and have truly been chosen by god to own these beautiful boys.. i think alot of people critisize simply because they are scared of the pitbull, but unless you are blessed with such a lovin animal you will never know* all you will know is what you hear.

    just wanted to start off with, I am not against owning pit bulls, nor do i dislike them as a breed. The thing that trouble me about this video and comments on how pit bulls are great dogs is the fact that pit bulls have instinctive thoughts and actions that cannot be ignored. This dog is clenching the other dogs neck (a distictive pit bull trate) and mounting. It is not growling nor snarling, which shows the dog is not attacking in rage, it is more dominace instinct. Pit Bull lovers have to realize that as nice and sweet and cat loving as your dog may be, in it's brain is still the instinct to be a pit bull. Just like newfoundlanders will swim to a person in water without training or a springer spainel will chase birds without ever hunting, or a jack russell chasing after verman. Different dogs have different instincts and this has to be conciderd. My friend has a sweet pit bull, lives on a farm, sleeps with the kittens, nebours dog comes over to visit. This is the same dog that altered my opinions on pit bulls when i saw it attack another dog out of play. It seemed the dogs were getting along fine until the other dog started walking away and thats when my friends pitty decided to grab its neck and take it down to the ground and hold it there for 25 min until we finally were able to pry them apart. I still can appreciate the breed, but they should be owned by responsable owners who know the possibility of there cute gentle pitty turning out of the blue.

    Lately in indianpolis there was a pit bull attacked a 2 year old gal in her trolley~ luckily she was saved but has to have face surgery several times. Owner should becareful with their dogs... or Squirrel, becoz squirrel can use as nun-chuk which is dangerous. And Parrotsm when they are mad, they fight like bruce lee. The 1st part is true, the rest of my news are BS. Thanks for watching~~

    WTF??? nobody ran in to stop it there were moments there when people were just standing there. thank the lord a few good samaritans jumped in and tried to save the other dog. but as much as they tried they didnt even know how to make the dog let go of the other with out ripping the dogs face off. the only way that a pitt bull will let go is if u stick something up its behind and this has been proven by many animal study personals.
