Actually they returned to the Moon another 5 times (or something like that) after 1969.

recently did a show and completely debunked all the most common myths about NASA faking the moon landing. I suggest you watch it.

If you are willing to believe the nonsense that NASA faked the moon landing then you would probably really like the flat earth society website. Just look it up in Google. The arguments they make are equally as "good" as the NASA conspiracy kooks arguments.

the big brown tank contains fuel for the orbitor during take off, the white rockets on the sides contain their own fuel supply, these are jettisoned off early and parachute back to earth to be re-used during later flights, once the fuel is used up in the external fuel tank it is jetissoned from the shuttle and burns up in the atmosphere somewhere out over the atlantic

that argument about almost anything? The U.S.A gives, literally billions a year to fight poverty and hunger. Can't we do more than one thing at once? How much of your income do you give to charity? Do you ever do anything just for yourself? And if so couldn't I make the same argument about you? Why did you go to the movies......you could have given that money to fight hunger!

to solve all the world problems first. Then is it OK with you if we go into space. I think that will put the start of the space program in about the year ten million or so.

I really think we can work on both things at the same time.

no matter what we do or how much we spend there will always be hunger pain disease these are natural things that keep us from over poplulating this planet and for every disease that is cured we seem to discover another and for every mouth we feed more hungry babys are born...

its just the balance of nature good/evil rich/poor lucky/unlucky so on and soo on...

just do ur part knowing that u will never solve the big problem but help som1 any1 that needs it...

All the research into space flight also adds to our knowledge of hunger, pain and suffering. What about drug and alcohol addiction? We need to end those, too, but idiots still drink or dope up then drive. Then there are the people hell bent on making people suffer for the suffering they feel is caused them at someone else's hands. They do what they do in the name of religion, fighting greed, stopping evil, but the bottom line is that no matter what we would spend on ending poverty, curing the worst diseases, and feeding the world, someone is trying their damnedest to keep it going.

comment on the video???... it's amusing how there's always some tool that has to comment about world hunger or poverty...if NASA spent billions of dollars on poverty, they wouldn't be much of a "space organisation" now would they? like the majority of people i don't care much for the 3rd world issues such as hunger/poverty etc as it doesn't effect me... but you go right ahead and waste your money i won't stop you :o) sorry for the semi-long post, but i just found it amusing as I can't escape politics even watching a god damn shuttle launch!!!!
