And the colours have hardly faded at all.The white shading is still perfect and that is usually the first to go. I think It depends on how well "dug in"the tat was when it was done.
If it was dug in well, it will bleed like hell and scab really badly (A big hard scab that takes ages to fall off but must NOT be picked at)At least thats what happened to that tat.Others I got around the same time didn't hurt,bleed or scab as badly, but have blurred and faded by comparison.
I worry about this new trend toward "lightly"done ultra fine line detail work and wonder what they will look like in 20 years...
p.s. I"ve "W O" tattooed on my dick and when I crack a fat it says "Woollomalloo" Haha.lol..(just kidding)

if you "dig" a tattoo too deep, too much scabbing happens and scarring can occur, the ink tends to take less with a tattoo done this way too because it comes out in the scab

Take the word of someone who has had it done.I scratched a tiny bit at the corner of a web and that piece did lose some colour.The rest on the other hand is nearly as good as new 36 yrs on.
I still don't think these "lightly done"tatts will have the staying power of the older "cruder" methods.
Pity I'll be too old for more by the time they prove themselves to be any goood.
Because I'm going to have to wait another 36 yrs..

hey ,fool,in my country ,where the word originated we dont put an H . do u know where that word came from?by the way,tatoos originated from tribel people,so if u like them ,maybe you have a little tribe in you ,civilized cultures dont need tattoos to prove nothing,its all in what u have in ur brain not on ur body

It is the most pathetic thing that people are critical towards people who do things and act in certain (perfectly legal) ways, but know nothing about the person or their motivations for doing said action. Haven't u seen professionals who are universities graduates putting on tattoos on their body? It's an art, a hobby, interest, leisure or whatever u called it. Most importantly its their choice.

schools ! So that's not a good approach (for you). So whether tatts are Art or not is a matter of conjecture and personal taste...good or bad, my vote is: if you weren't born with it it's probably bad or at the very least unneccessary. Unless of course you are a pagan or witch doctor, gangban'ger or Harley owner, pirate or gypsy, circus 'chicken-hawk', merchant marine maybe, ect.
