    There is no distinction in tone between verse and chorus, which is boring.
    LOL - he does the moon walk!!! How unorginal.
    He looks nervous. It's better if he relaxes a little rather tan trying hard to impress. Music is about showing emotion not about impressing people, sing as though you are alone.

    I used to like this song, until I heard it played on the radio 15 times in one day. If this kid had sung it, I might have still liked it. He's miles better than James Blunt, anyway.

  • Good, but not great.

    He has a great voice and obviously a very trained one, but he needs to work a lot on enunciating. Granted, James Blunt S**ks and isn't a very good show of talent, but the kid is slurring a lot of his words.

    A song isn't as beautiful if people who don't know the lyrics can barely understand.

      A song is beautiful if the singer is great. Haven't you ever listened to song that's not in english?
      Do you need to understand the words to see the beauty in a song?
      It's not always easy to sing all the words in song... There are different methods to sing different vowls and sometimes the words disappear in the tone. This is very difficult to controll and it takes a lot of practice. Besides, the kid is only thirteen years old.
      To not have english as first language and at his age, he gives a great performance!
      I'm proud to be a norwegian!:)

      ... that he's horrible. He's several times better than anyone I know personally.

      And yes, I listen to millions of songs that aren't in English. I'm surprised I haven't heard one in binary yet.

      I'm just saying, James Blunt is a horrible showcase of what he can really do. This kid has a lot of talent, especially for his age. But the song he picked is biting at his delivery, and in my opinion it's a bad idea to even sing like he does.

      I understand your point of view. My songteacher once told me that even if you have a great voice, it's the choices in songs that can make you a even better singer.
      The boy probably likes this song very much and I think he is tough that sings a song that is difficult to sing if you have a special voice..:)
      It's almost like singing a Shakira song with a Brandy-voice. You can do it, but it's possible that you go off-key.
      Anyway, these comments are great for me to practice my english grammar... I'm a BIT out of practice, I can see...:)

      I'm sorry but how is that one of the crappest singing voices ever? You mustn't have heard the same song as the rest of us. I think that considering this kid is 13 he is excellent. I think that when you take into consideration that he is singing with a microphone it is amazing - as you know, a microphone makes any key changes and intonation problems sound even worse. I do think he has a huge amount of talent and he can go far. You have to remember though, it is talent and potential that he has in abundance.
