However, I find Paul to be more appealing because he wasn't all preachy about love and peace. Besides, he's the cute Beatle.

I have got to agree one thousand percent! John forever! The man looked inside and expressed himself with painful honesty for the sake of his art! Paul is a glorified music hall showman. Overflowing with talent to be sure, but talent of a sticky sort, sometimes ... JOHN FOREVER!!!!
PS. This is Paul's best solo song IMHO.
PPS. Despite my words I think Paul is the S**t just not compared to John.

Well, you know akos024, I really love the Beatles but I also like both John and Paul "after-Beatles". They're two legends and if I'd have to choose, that would be really difficult.
(and in the end, I'm really not sure I would choose John Lennon).

Paul McCartney is a genius, wether you like it or not. And I love his songs just because of what they all make me feel.

i have to share with you something, about my feelings abut paul: how he could be famous after the beatles??? i cannot understad that. ohh, sorry, i know. he is simply used his name. that is all, nothing else. i should not compare musicians but i cannot do without it.
