  • Clean, Reasonable and Hospital. Must vis

I visited this place during summer of 2009. The place is excellent. Rooms are clean and neat. Food is outstanding. One can see nature at its best. From their guest book I find every one is impressed.
The cost is very reasonable. You will be given fabulous food. There is no end for activities. Highly recommended for couples, families and children.
.......SIMPLY SAID. ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAY SPOTS

  • Stream of Joy- Never Visit

    Hi,

I had a hard time in the resort "stream of joy" at arisinamaki.I wanted to share my recent experience in this resort. My wife and I went to dharmastala last week, as we were travelling to

such a long distance, we decided to go to some resort to have a day out relaxing, we were considering mangalore and while I was searching for a resort nearer to dharmastala I found this "stream of joy" at arisinamaki which is 28Km from dharamatsala.

We were highly disappointed with the resort. It had 2 cottages and 2 huts. For cottage they charged RS1100 per person per day and for hut it was Rs800 per person per day.which is absolutely worthless.

There's no difference between the cottage and hut except attached bathroom.

    -Rooms were poorly maintained
    -Rooms were stinking
-We saw rats under the cots
    -Hot water wasnt coming continuously
-No television- anyways this was not our absolute requirement, but when we pay1100 we need some facilities?wat say?
-Biggest problem was electricity, the power was frequently going off-there was a generator but they did not-no back up generator
-The funny part was the common bathroom for the hut is located far way from the hut?Wondering whose idea was it?

When I reported all these to the concerned person, there was no proper response. The person was particular only about 1100 per person and did not mind the problem we were going through. Then we decided to cancel the stay from 2 days to 1 day.Since, it was evening when we reached the resort, we decided to adjust for one night and the next day morning we left the place. The power was frequently going off, when I asked them to use generator, they said they have no diesel. At night time inside the forest imagine how dark it would be it was complete blackout all night long.It was very scary for both of us.

The next moring, we packed and said we are cancelling the stay, they had asked us to pay 2200 and also the resort charged for the cab even for the distance the driver drove from his

house till the resort. We were shocked with their attitude, as we left with no options otherthan to admit ourselves to their greedy mind.

The only thing which we liked was the village "arisinamaki".

I strongly do not recommend anybody here particularly couples, but if somebody is still interested, better check with your friends/anyone who had recently visit this resort, instead blindly going by the pictures and comments on the internet as I did.
