    Remember the little girls this happened to a few years ago.. Got her out the same way. They first tried a guy with no collar bones to squeeze in the hole but wouldn't fit.

    The show, Simpsons, on fox took this exact incident and used it in the show, with bart stuck in the hole, trying to pull out a radio then he ended up with a broken leg, so they do the same method as what these people did, and free'd bart after he pulled a prank fooling the town, by using a radio and saying he was stuck in the hole as the radio was in the hole.

      In the US the thing that happened with Bart where a kid faked being trapped in a well happened. It happened years before the episode was made though. That was the incident that inspired the Simpson’s episode. In fact this one in china happened after that Simpson’s episode was made. You may also notice this kid is in a whole at a construction site not a well on a farm.

      I mean was the episode were Bart fakes falling in a well on a farm inspired by the kid who faked falling in a well on a farm before the episode was made, or was is based on the kid who fell in a hole in a construction site after it was made. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

      How can you base an episode of something that happens after you make it? Can they see the future or something? If so why are they making cartoons instead of just getting rich off betting and stocks?

      he probably didnt die because it was amsall hole and , the friction of him rubbing against the side probably slowed him down enought so he wasnt falling as faat as u fink, look at me being all technical lol

      this one was small enough that he barly fit. this means there was lots of friction on the sides slowing him down. It was not a 40ft free fall.

      The better question is what was the 2.5 year old doing walking around in a construction site? I know if I was at one with my 2.5 year old nephew I would have a hold on him the entire time, if I was not straight out carrying him.

      Also the only way I would ever take a 2.5 year old kid to a construction site would be if there was some kind of emergency and I worked at the site or something.

      I would say the problem is the parents not the site. No one thinks about if a construction site is safe for a 2.5 year old kid because they should not be there.

      Why is it never the parents fault? I mean why was there a hole a toddler could fall in at a construction site never entered my mind till I read you post. The first question I had is what in the world were those parents thinking letting their kid be there in the first place. You know how much other stuff there is at a construction site that could hurt or kill a kid?

    I don't know who will have more nightmares, the child, or the parents. I watched this and though of how easy it is for a child to take off running. Then as you shout to your child to come back to you, scolding for the running, they disapear. I thank God every day for the safety of my children.

    How does a 2.5 year old kid get in a hole at a construction site? What was he doing in a construction site? In a construction site unsupervised for that matter. That is just bad parenting.

    I think the rescue is great but i think that kid should be taken away from those parents. Talk about irresponsible.
