LG donates $250,000 to VH1 Save The Music as Natasha Bedingfield performs for students at a New York public school

To help kick-off the upcoming 2008/09 school year, VH1 Save the Music Artist Ambassador, Natasha Bedingfield is partnering with the foundation and LG Mobile Phones for a special in-school performance.

As an artist ambassador, Bedingfield recently donated a live version of her song “Angel” – off her sophomore release, “Pocketful of Sunshine,” to the foundation for a ringtone promotion in conjunction with LG Mobile Phones. The ringtone is available until September 28 and can be purchased for $2.99 at Save.VH1.com or by texting save to shortcode 66555. All proceeds from the promotion will benefit public school music programs across the country.

LG Mobile Phones is presenting a check to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation for $250,000 during the event, in support of their partnership with the VH1 Save the Music Foundation to benefit music education throughout public schools.
