Here are a few things you can do to give new life to that outdated drive. The good old Zip Drive introduced by Iomega in late 1994 served it's purpose as a medium-capacity removable disk storage system until obsolescence kicked in as it was replaced by flash drives as well as rewritable CDs and DVDs.

useless and still 2000 dollars, ok the marionette and moneybox are just for fun but why put a smal, handy en nice looking 2,5 inch hard drive into a ugly big zip drive?

not good for hard drives
that usb hard drive enclosure was made from aluminum for dissipating the heat.

if you put that inside a PLASTIC enclosure, it won't let heat dissipate, increasing the possibility of a hard drive damage and reducing it's lifetime.
