  • Bosss

He is a big boss man that's why he is ruling america for 8 years.. he is very much supported .. okay he is not a LEADER but a boss, there is a big difference between boss and leader. America lives more action during his period, 9/11 Afghanistan, Iraq. You know why he is really a boss .. because he does whatever he wants and nobody dares to do anything against him. he can give the finger and say words like SHIT and talk stupid ,, and still rules the world .. okay MANY MANY ppl hate america and americans are unhappy and america is going down because of his acts but he is still ruling.. i just wonder Why americans killed JFK although he was the most loved president ever and left Bush although he is the most hated president? because bush is a boss and knows what he is doing.

    • Or...

Bush didn't ride down a crowded street in Dallas with his top up. You have Bush go for a "ride" and we'll see how far he gets before someone shoots him. And then the person who shoots him gets hailed as the next great american hero.
Kalak, are you HONESTLY saying that Bush is a better president than JFK? JFK put a man on the moon, Bush sends thousands of men to die in Iraq. Somehow, I'm going to have to go with JFK...

He is an embarrsement to the US and the whole world. How can a country vote for such a man, you want him to represent you, and us around the world, him and his currupt goverment, they don't care about anyone only good business and making money and supremacy around the world. That is so clear to me and millions of people. Get him out now and Blair too!!! There both two planks!!!

          • Check this out

I knew that Bush was stupid but not to this extent ! I mean ppl who elected him the first time thought that maybe just maybe Jr Bush would be differnet than his Father ... well yeah ... hes more of a dumbass and a fool ... Whats really bothering me is that how can the ppl be so dumb and ignorant to re-elect such a person who says that God talks to me and commands me to do this and do that and that this will happen ... what does he think that hes a prophet now or a messenger of God .. believe me when i say the age of prophets is gone and if only if God wanted to send a new prophet which will neve happen but if he did then im sure he wouldnt choose the most stupid person in the universe , a persone who stumbles and cant even read or remeber what he has been taught to say ?! ... well , i belive that those americans who chose such person to lead thier country deserve whats comming to them and im sorry for all those who are innocent and dont deserve the pain and agony that was, is and is going to be caused by this reckless dumbass actions ... peace

                  • are u serious

interesting analogy your partially right he is certainly not a leader, but hes no boss, since american is a free market country an oligopoly of countries pretty much control the country bush is simply there representative or puppet in politics like many politicians who run just for more power they dont actually care about the people in the country but it was sad when gore lost but it was even sadder when kerry lost and bush got RE-ELECTED after iraq and now look at the might us a 3 trillion dollar deficity no health insurance and a ton of fat people

if peoples votes actually counted then bush wouldnt be ruling right now! none of the votes from citizens count towards the election. The pick that actually pick him are from the electorial college, from each state get to cast a vote in. they decide who is president. America is not stupid only a couple people are!

                                                    • Bush HELPED the world??

How has he helped the world? By taking out Saddam?

Listen, you can say a lot of bad things about Saddam, but not that he tollerated an organization like Al-Qaeda on Iraqi territory.
Prior to the invasion of Iraq, Egyptian president Moebarak said: 'Now, they will create a hundred Saddams.' And you know what? He was right. Terrorism spread throughout the world. 80% of the American safety specialists beliefs that the policy of Bush has not led to less but MORE insecurity.

In Irag, things have never been worse: the police is corrupt en suicide bombing happen daily just to name a few consequences.

Bush never went out of the USA before 2000 (apart from Mexico) and then expects he can rule the world.

Thanks a lot Mr. Bush for making the world a better place. (Sarcasm)

                                                    • hmmm...

so what were we supposed to do? just sit around and let an insane dictator slaughter his people like hitler did? the only mistake the US made was not invading iraq EARLIER. If we would of just let saddam be he probably would of created more WMDs and become stronger through his terrorist allies. So were just supposed to sit and watch as evil wreaks havoc on the innocent? You've probably heard the saying "The only thing evil things to succeed is for good men to do nothing"

By somedude73 1154388613 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
                                                    • America supported him!

Maybe you've forgotten that the America supported the same insane dictator in his war against Iran. Or that America supported the Taliban during their war against the Soviet-Union? Or that they helped a radical Sjiit-majority to power in Iraq?
Bottomline is: it's OK to be a dictator, as long as you're pro-american.

And if you're so keen on helping innocent people, then why not go to Africa? Plenty of people there to help. And I'm not talking about giving food to the poor but I'm talking about, let's say, Sudan.

Ok we never supported the taliban. Iraq had its own army back then. We simply supplied their army with some weapons. Thats nothing close to helping a radical islamic group. Its just plain wrong to say that we helped/supported terrorists. But if you want to call America the bad guy, thats your opinion. I'm fine with the idea of going to sudan, but whats really happening over there? If they need help LETS DO IT. We can help more than 1 place. Theres just too many damn wimpy liberals who don't think its our business to go into other countries. In the years since terrorists attacked the US, Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, and captured a TERRORIST who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

I call the American GOVERMENT and anyone stupid enough to blinly follow whatever it says and does the bad guys.

Hmm...you don't know about the situation in Sudan. Why am I not surprised? Nothing personal, really. It's the American media (another bad guy). Allright, I'll tell you a bit about the war in Sudan. A civil war is raging in Sudan since 1954 (!). The contrasts between the islamitic goverment in the north and the rebel forces in the south. On january 9th 2005, the two most important factions have reached a ceasefire. Unfortunately, in Darfur, a region situated in the west of the country, people have responded to the 'Comprehensive Peace Agreement' by rebelling against the goverment. Darfur is an extremely dry and poor region and the inhabitants believe the goverment does'nt care about them because they weren't receiving any help. The capital of Sudan, where the goverment was sitting, was prosperring to make matters worse.
The civil war in Darfur has led to genocide and ethnic cleansing.

                                                    • Alright

I'll address your second statement first. Sorry if my previous post sounded ignorant. I do know whats going on in the Sudan and I can tell you that currentlly the UN (unfortunately) and the US are currently seeking new peace methods. We have American ambassadors going over there as well as UN heads investigating. We have plenty of orginizations such as World Vision taking donations. The US is the largest single international donor to sudan providing more than 86 percent of the food distributed by the World Food Program, and more than 1.3 billion dollars to fund humanitarian, reconstruction, and peacekeeping needs in both Darfur and other regions in Sudan. President Bush and senior officials have relentlessly worked to end genocide in Darfur.

Now I'll address your first statement. It sounds like your saying that we supplied TERRORISTS with weapons. Im not totally sure where your getting with that. Back then when those nations were at war we supplied their ARMYS with weapons. Not terrorists. Thats what I was trying to tell you in the first place and you probably misunderstood me. I'll try to make myself a little clearer nakani, naikana, nakana, whatever...

                                                    • It's Nanaki.

It's true that the US is the largrest international donator and that's great. But what isn't great is that the Bush-administration was really wanted to rap the Sudanese regime on the knuckles last year during the Security Counsil. Several months later, however, the US were suddenly far less enthousiastic. They said it was because China and Russia were'nt co-operating (China has intrests in the oil-industrie in South-Sudan and Russia sells arms to the regime.) and they didn't want to endanger this historical agreement between the rebels and the goverment. The REAL reason is the US intelligence has made a deal with the Sudanese intelligence. The Sudanese intelligence was to help the US in its war on terror. Bin Laden lived in Khartum during the 90's and this might help in the search for him. But wait it gets even better. Then the US brought the head of the Sudanese intelligence over to Washington for consultation. Sallah Abdalla Gosh is being accused of leading the military operations in Darfur.
Suddenly, America doesn't want to intervene in the conflict in Sudan anymore.

Now, about the terrorists. I meant exactly what you're assuming. You supported the Taliban in its war with the Soviet-Union because you needed control over a pipeline in Tadzjikistan (former Soviet-Union). No need to make yourself clearer...

By nanaki 1154597903 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
                                                    • What?

All this trouble in Sudan hasn't stopped us from helping logistically. Youre saying we should intervene. Let me ask you this. How do you stop a nation from CIVIL WAR? This is a rebellion taking place not slaughtering of thousands of innocent civilians. Both sides are fighting.

And now to my main point: WE NEVER SUPPORTED THE TALIBAN. Clear enough? We supported the tribes of the northern federation of Afghanistan. Together these tribes were called the mujaheeden (freedom fighters). The mujaheeden were not terrorists and all they wanted was to kick the soviets out of their country. The Taliban stayed in the southern region of Afghanistan and STAYED OUT of the war. After the war was over the Taliban then assassinated all the leaders of the tribes and took over the country by force.

Oh yeah and you want to know the real deal about the pipe line in Tadzjikistan? That was the Soviet's goal! We wanted to protect the pipe line from them. But you say we wanted control of them. Yeah well what are we supposed to do, just let them have it? You think we wanted it for ourselves? Hmmm... How convenient to, once again, label America as the bad guys.

By somedude73 1154665222 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
                                                    • Where do you get your information?

                                                      I really want to know.
Stopping a nation from civil war isn't easy and soon you'll face the same problem again in Iraq because they aren't far from civil war either. Guess whose fault that is?

Never supported the Taliban, huh? Well, check this. The Taliban would have never gotten to power if it weren't for the support of Pakistan and the agreement of the US. In the 90's the vice-chairman of Unocal together with Hyundai, Saudi-Arabian Delta Oiland the Pakistanian Crescent founded the consortium Centgas. The main idea was to build a pipeline from Turkmenistan to the Indian Ocean via Afghanistan and Pakistan. But, "then Afghanistan, ripped and torn by civil war, must first have a goverment that is internationally recognized." So Centgas payed the Taliban, among others and in 1996, Taggart, vice president of Unocal called the progress of the Taliban "a positive matter" and that "recent events have benefitted the project and Washington should take the official recognision of the Taliban into consideration."
Again, the Taliban would have never gotten to power if it weren't for the Pakistanian secret service who was working together with the US and Saudi-Arabia. The Us and Saudi-Arabia were partners in the project of the pipeline wich would by the way be detrimental to Russia, Iran and Europe. Only their little strategy failed because they couldn't stop the civil war in Afghanistan.
Recent events have little to do with "war on terrorism" and much more with helping a "anti-Taliban goverment" to power throught the occupation of Afghanistan and establishing bases in Pakistan and other former Soviet-union countries such as Uzbekistan. They will form the guards of the American oil companies. This is necesary because the pro-american regimes in Pakistan and Afghanistan will soon be unstable.

I am simply defending our current actions in the middle east and I am a firm believer that the US would never do the evil things you talk about. Sure, we've made mistakes but I will tell you that the United States of America never has and never will support any evil (knowingly) and always will try its hardest to make the world a better place.

By somedude73 1154738813 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
                                                    • What is your problem?

Why are you so bent on blaming Bush and the US? What country are you from? Why can't you just accept the fact that this nation is trying to help this world? People like you search and search for stories to make up to make the US out to be a 1984 type government like big brother or something. You're "seeking the truth". I won't defend everything the US does and I dont agree with everything Bush says and does. THIS IS NOT A PERFECT COUNTRY. The US has made mistakes. I absolutely think we should try to help Sudan. But dont even try to say that we've tried to help evil organizations. I know bullshit when I hear it. But because I say that I'm "blind". I'll tell you where I get my information: everywhere. I watch TV, I surf the internet, and I look at the facts. I'm not swayed by liberal takes on the news and I'm not swayed by conservative takes either. I am a firm believer that good will win over evil, especially in Iraq. So now I'll ask you the same question and you probably give me the same answer I gave you. It certainly looks like you just look at any crap that somehow is against the US.

Its not our fault that civil war might start. You want to know who's fault it is? THE TRIBES WHO ARE FIGHTING. The shiites and the sunnis have been fighting for thousands of years (long before we invaded).

We helped the Taliban? Wow. It makes me furious to hear people say things like what you've said. You can just keep going on with all this made up stuff you call "fact". I already told you how the Taliban really got to power. They stayed out of the war against the soviet union and when the war was over and all the other tribes were weak and they were strong they assassinated all the leaders and then assassinated the royal family which was governing the country and took over that way. But no, "the US helped them". Liberal absolutely love to exagerate. They've been doing it since Vietnam and once again are relentlessly finding ways to twist and distort the facts to make it look like we're evil. What you've just told me "the Taliban would have never gotten to power if it weren't for the Pakistanian secret service who was working together with the US and Saudi-Arabia," is just another example of it. I don't pay attention to one report I look at tons of reports covering the same subject.

And how the hell could the pipeline be "detrimental" to Russia? That was the whole reason they were invading the middle east: FOR OIL! Russia needed oil and Afghanistan was a key objective with the pipeline. Here's the fact: The US helped fund the pipeline. You look at this and say "gee they must want all the oil for themselves!" Has it ever occured to you that, being the biggest logistical provider in the world, the US just wanted to help another country? Here it is bro. I dont support all our country has done it the past and I am not blindly following president Bush.

                                                    • I'm from Belgium.

I also get my answers from the same sources you get them but maybe you should put a link to one of your sources in your next comment so I can see for myself.

You talk a lot about good and evil but that's dealing with absolutes. Good and evil are a point of view. My opinions about good and evil are different than yours. Who are you to say what is good and what is bad? This isn't a movie, this isn't Hollywood. Things are a little more complicated in life. A terrorist believes he's doing a good thing when he blows up a car along with himself. (I don't think that's a good thing.)

The US as a COUNTRY wants to help the world but the GOVERMENT has other plans. 9/11, I think, is an inside job because there are simply too many unanswered questions. When the war in Iraq started, my country was against it and what does the US goverment do? They immediatly threaten to remove the NATO headquarters from our capital.
                                                      The whole situation stinks...

                                                    • As a person from a completely different ...

you shouldn't judge the US. I just hope you aren't watching news that is just a Belgian take on the US because it sounds like Belgium doesn't like us. I watch C-Span a lot so there's an example of where I get my information. It's neither conservative nor liberal slanted; it's the raw news. My advice to you, don't watch CNN or Fox News (not sure if you get either). So if the US really did threaten such a thing like that then I can't blame them. Look what you guys were protesting against! I just can't believe who WOULDN'T want to help us. Saddam Hussein was slaughtering hundreds of thousands of his people and how could you NOT want to bring justice to them? In my opinion that was a pretty wimpy thing to do. I'm just glad you're not French.

Good and evil is an OPINION? Huh? What? You say it's complicated. How much simpler could that be? I am a staunch Christian and I can easily say that Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the people who planned 9/11, and all terrorists ARE EVIL--well, Zarqawi WAS evil--and all who are stopping this madness and putting an end to terrorism are GOOD. Call me crazy but I really don't see how that's complicated.

If you aren't an American I wouldn't say a damn word about 9/11. I'm sure you saw the footage of the two planes flying into the buildings. Pretty straight-forward. Terrorists probably working for Bin Laden (and it doesn't matter who they were working for--they were TERRORISTS) hijacked planes and since the country that they hate most is the US, who else would they attack? Too many unanswered questions? What are you saying? That you think the government was behind this, or that they paid someone to do it? There is too much footage of the attacks and too much and too much records of the terrorists. People have said that the government autonomously controled the planes. So what do they think? That all the people on board who called crying to their families were LYING? And that Osama Bin Laden was LYING when he claimed responsibility? It is the plain truth that a government like the US cannot possibly be so corrupt as to do such things.

Now, being an actual citizen of this country, I'll tell you that Bush can't control the whole country. It's not that he doesn't, he simply can't. Read my reply to democrat_85001's post below. The government has done lots of things I disagree with such as making judges all powerful enough to create and reject laws. In fact a lot of our government is AGAINST Bush and it is mostly only congress that is for him. In some areas our government is corrupt by not nearly enough to murder 3,000 innocent people.

By somedude73 1154831335 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
                                                    • You're starting to annoy me.

There is no such thing as a 'Belgian take' on the US! The opinion about the war in Iraq is the same in many European countries. I watch and read the news from Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands and they all think the same. I never watch the American media. Although these days it's because they no longer air CNN here and Fox News was never aired here.

Now, about the US threatening us. They don't let us make up our OWN opinion. "Your either with us, or against us." That's dealing with absolutes! We will not jump into a war simply because YOU say so. We've already been through two terrible wars when we wanted to stay neutral. We've already had to rebuild our cities twice. We wanted to wait untill a real research of the events on september 11th before we jump to conclusions. We supported you when you invaded Afghanistan to catch Bin-Laden. But what on earth did iraq had to do with 9/11?

Speaking of 9/11, you should check out the vids here on metacafe about 9/11. Especially the ones called 'loose change'. THAT are unanswered questions. Surely you must have heard about them. I even found one on C-span so someone like you, who claims he's not influenced by liberal nor conservative propaganda should be smart enough to question the whole situation. If you can give a clear answer to all the questions asked in the videos (and also this one: 'What were they to gain to attack the most powerful nation in the world?') then I'll say that you're right.

Finally, I just wish to say that I will no longer continue this endless discussion. We can go on for ever with this. Reply to this comment whatever you want, I will not reply anymore.

                                                      Goodbye.

                                                    • Thanks

Befor you replied I was planning to say the same thing you said. But hey! Someone ended it. This conversation wasn't going anywhere anyway. But it was interesting. And if you would like to argue some more I'm up for it! If I got on your nerves it's because I'm just sick and tired of all the Democrats in my country (and it's pretty easy to get mad) and unfortunately I took it out on you.

Now I could go on and on about the world and opinions but frankly who cares! I didn't expect the Belgian news to have its own take. So when we went into Iraq did Bush say you had to help militarily? Sending supplies and medical help to the civilians would of been great. Now I have talked about why we went into Iraq (slaughtering) again and again and again and it had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Why would someone even try to think of a connection between the two?

I have already seen the loose change videos and obviously I'm not going to watch them again just to find the questions. I know that people said they saw a helicopter and people had the government all on them. Did you notice where these videos came from? CNN! This is the part where I give my opinion. Lies. Lies and more lies. I'm telling you people will do anything they can to get attention and that most definitely includes lying about the government. And plenty of people hate the government just because they don't like Bush.

What were they to gain? I find that question extremely simplistic. Islamic terrorists have always hated Christianity above all others. Since the US was based on a Christian government and since the US considered a christian country, we are the terrorists primary target. In the Koran it says to kill christian "infadels" and the most glory goes to those who kill a christian and die doing it. So let me ask you this. What WEREN'T they to gain? If you know you're going to die who are you going to take down with you? Terrorism will do anything it can, big or small, to cripple the US. And 3,000 lives, yeah, that hurt our country. They succeeded. But you know what? Ever since 9/11 the US has greatly decreased terrorism in the world. Over time we will succeed in Iraq and the world will see just how much we have done to help this earth.

                                                      GOD BLESS AMERICA

                                                      yeah, I said it.

Youre calling Bush a dictator. It sounds like you dont know what the word means. If bush was a dictator, meaningless people like you wouldn't be alive. You would be tracked down and shot. But because we have such a "great" thing as FREE SPEECH people don't disagree with others, they simply hurl insults. Can you please explain or at least back up your pointless statement. What has bush done to you to make your life so terrible? You want to talk about the ecomony? I can tell you even as the president one man cannot control everything. People blame Bush for how crappy our society has become. Does Bush really control EVERYTHNG? Of course not! He simply makes the big decisions. If Bush was a dictator, we wouldn't have all this bullshit about taking God out of the pledge of allegence, we wouldn't have these worthless scumbags holding up signs saying "thank God for dead soldiers", and best of all we wouldnt hav people like YOU who all they can do is insult the president and call him a "dictator".
