they continue racing. you see when an f1 crashes the driver presses the red button on his steering wheel which detaches all his tires and turns the steering wheel into a remote control which he uses to control the detached wheels... DUUUUHHHHHH!!!

The circuit is well known for its wet conditions. The track runs through mountains and woods and is very long. The weather conditions are constantly changing through the race. Some parts of the track can remain perfectly dry whilst others can be soaking wet. This is a real problem for the teams to pick the right tyres for the race.

An added problem is that the circuit also runs over roads that are normally open to every day trafic, so the cars have to deal with white lines and other road furniture, which when wet, can cause some problems. (Bikers will know this.)
Over the years since Spa has been on the motor racing circuit, the track has been improved and made safer but it still remains a long and challenging circuit.2712471 - 1

good start,he (don't know who) has a great start, and the ferrari's are having also a great start. And Irvin is also having a great start, Irvin is having a SUPER start, and in the middin is coulthard, and he takes that spot.... (after this I don't understand a word of the S**t he's saying) Are they taking all that turn YES. coulthard falls back to place 4 and ... OOOOH BANG, huge crash, restart, coulthard is off the track... everyone crashes,, and Verstappe drives into the other cars,,, this is a MEGA crash... but now we have a gigantic problem in spa francorchamps,, cuz this means that a lot of drivers can't finish this race...

To those of you who thinks it´s a fake: I worked as a PR-assistant for the McLaren Mercedes Team from 1997-1999. It´s not fake, I can assure you. BTW, if in doubt, check the official team website. guys guys guys... its the belgian grandprix 1998.. david coulthard from mclaren started the whole incident... later on drivers returned to their extra cars in the exact same positions as this is the case if such accident takes place within the first three laps.

The race was restarted. Everyteam has got a third car, which can be used during the racing week-end, if one driver makes an accident during a training or warmup session. After choosing the car the driver who changes gets ranked back to last place. In fact the race was restarted with less drivers than first time, cause every team had three cars, but some teams had both cars crashed...
Was quite a funny race, just next to where I live, 20 minutes to Spa, but I wasn't there :> :P

Another notable race was the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix which took place in torrential conditions. The race was originally stopped after a massive accident involving thirteen of the twenty-two runners at the first corner. The heavy rain caused low visibility, and Michael Schumacher ran into the back of David Coulthard, an event that angered Schumacher so much that he attempted to threateningly confront Coulthard in the McLaren garage.
