    You misunderstand me. Anyways: tell me where you got this from, since, a gorilla has never lifted 500 lbs, even in the wild: "the AVERAGE gorilla can lift 500"

    Additionally, even if you did have a gorilla, would it even want to lift the damn thing? And you forget you need technique to powerlift, a gorilla being built for pulling, grabbing and snapping would find it hard to get into the optimum position for lifting.

    We just don't know.

    there is no way that a human could lift more than a gorilla unless it was on steroids, the AVERAGE human can lift probably 150 pounds, the AVERAGE gorilla can lift 500, there may be superstrong humans that can lift 500 lbs., but a superstrong gorilla can probably lift 1500 lbs.
