      quran is not a science book. it was bestowed upon mankind more than 1400 years ago. there are some verses which describe scientific phenomenon like the the process of fetus formation in mother's womb, the formation of rain, the big bang theory, and others.

      of course there are no scientific equation or scientific terms being used in the quran. this is because it was brought to human some 1400 years ago, and the science at that time was not developed well enough for quran to use such sofisticated terms. therefore, it uses simple words which can be understood by the society at that time. nevertheless, it does not contradict to the scientific discovery nowadays.

      it is very interesting if you study the scientific part of the quran. most people nowadays regard quran as a "terrorist book", which do not show the true beauty of quran at all.

      this is just a friendly comment from me. i heard that the bible also has scientific part itself. can anyone tell me about it?
