I mean these guys took logic of what they know to be true and simply applied it to their theory. And it kinda fits, but still has lots of holes. Its not solid but a step in the right direction.

Yes it is a theory, but its a theory that has logic behind it. Not like religion, which supports blind submission to authority and the platform for which horrible acts can be justified in divine pursuit.

#1 you are being religious because you religiously believe some scientists because they put this ahead of actual science and perpetuate this belief that something blew up and every thing we know "evolved" from this explosion. That, in itself is a statistical monstrosity.

#3 Statements about "non existing god/gods" is self defeating. It's like making a statement about your non-existing parents. Or saying your brother is an only child, or you can't speak a word of English. It's a statement that negates itself.

#4 Just take a couple of statements back and just take a look at what these people are trying to say. They actually believe that EVERYTHING we know of today, and even things we don't know, is the result of an explosion. And then these same people mock religion. The belief that something exploded and created life is a religious belief in itself. It doesn't have any resemblance to science (knowledge gained by observation).

i dunno about you but i rather consider the fact of my own 'belief' and the scientist in this time then some simple primitive people about 2000 years ago who saw something that can easily be explained now. So many will readily accept a story without question such as the belief that humans were deposited by aliens on the planet, but will yell and scream and pitch a fit when someone brings up the idea of Creation, were we were created by God. And what can be "easily explained now"? What we can observe if we dare make a comparison with scientific discoveries and the Bible is the fact that there are items in the Bible that predate modern scientific "discovery", such as the sun having a circuit, oceanic currents in the sea (Google Matthew Mauray), prostaglandin in newborns at 7 days, freshwater springs at the bottom of the ocean. These are things that were written a couple of thousand years ago and scientists have only recently discovered these. For example the freshwater springs were not discovered until the late 60's.

Additionally, my point about the IQ was that you were attempting to mock people saying anyone with religious belief has a low IQ. If you are trying to say you are smarter than everyone else, at least run a spell check. Otherwise, we have a little pot calling a big kettle black scenario.

For someone to have a belief that everything we know came from a big explosion billions of years ago is the result of someone who doesn't have any other explanation for it. Never mind we can observe intelligent design in life and all living things. Nah, instead, let's think that something (who knows what it was, or how it got there in the first place) simply blew up and everything we know and even things we have yet to discover is simply the result of a huge explosion. You were born into believing in GOD, if you had been born in any other place on earth you'd have a severely different view on who your GOD is. That in its self is proof that GOD doesn't exist. If you were born in a predominantly Christian society the odds of you choosing to believe in your religion went up substantially; If you would have grown up in, Iraq for instance, you would believe in their presiding religion. The reason that many of the attempts to disprove religion were disrupted was because of the religious institutions of this world, and its brain washed citizens. The mire concept of religion is a creation of man, if man did not exist neither would the notion of GOD.

You're putting a whole lot of faith in this website (no pun intended, again). You are saying all this as if it is a matter of fact. Well, what's your proof? How can anyone testify to what happens after you die? The fact is, nobody knows what happens after you die. It could be nothing. Then again, it could be that there is an afterlife, life does have meaning, you have meaning, and we were created by a Creator. Now if you want to put all your eggs in one basket and accept this half-baked website as absolute truth, that's up to you, but you have to be willing to accept the fact that you could be wrong.

...I hear science talking about is that the universe is expanding at a ever faster rate, overridding gravity. They think this is driven by dark mater, which may also explain the "clumping" of galaxies.

Far into the future after all the stars have converted all the usable fuel the universe will go dark and lifeless.

The good news is our sun will have become a red giant before then already end all life on earth...so no worries....right?
