The most popular Magna Latch model and is ideal for gate latch for safety gates around swimming pools and other child safety areas such as child care centres. It is designed to extend above the height of the fence to keep the release knob out of reach of children, and is also key-lockable for added safety. It incorporates patented 'Lost Motion Technology' which stops the latch from disengaging due to shaking or moving the gate. It will neither rust, corrode or get stained and can be easily fitted on any type of gate material with Metal, Wood, Vinyl or Chain link. It is ideal for 48” (1200mm) gates/fences so that the release knob is out of reach of toddlers.
Fully Adjustable two part design provides easy installation. Vertical Adjustment is quick and easy because the latch body slides up and down. Horizontal Adjustment is achieved by adjusting a screw and can be adjusted across gaps ranging from 13-37mm allowing for quick and easy alignment on the gate as well as fine-tuning at any time to accommodate for gate sagging or movement over time.
