A couple of hours after Hurricane Ike hit on Saturday morning, I went out to film the damage with my 8 year old son. We couldn't believe our eyes. Hurricane Ike messed up "the Heights" and some of the other footage is of hotels near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

  Hurricane Ike was not as powerful as Katrina, and there was no flooding from damaged levies. Katrina was like a double disaster. Fortunately not as a many people were lost during Ike.
