I don't care what anyone says. He's still the king.
When I saw this clip, it made me SO LONESOME I COULD CRY. He was my TEDDY BEAR, my BIG HUNKA LOVE. If I had MY WAY, he would still be alive. No one will ever fill his BLUE SUEDE SHOES!! We love you Elvis xxx
By Swanie 1136045120 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveElvis..pure talent and bless. His faith shared by many others but not his fame! Will be remembered as a The King thru time and his songs..will never die. That is for sure..respect!
By Aeryn 1169913665 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveQuite a few years ago I watched a documentary about Elvis not long after he passed on, his personal physician was in trouble for prescribing him his uppers & downers. It's hard being in the position he & other entertainers find themselves, they need something to keep them going, why not a good old holiday instead of drugs & not a lot of pressure from their managers to perform concerts or shows in such a short amount of time.
By Aussie Girl 1116146609 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHe had a great voice right up to the end. A true entertainer. Crossed over generations.
A lesson and perhaps a warning nevertheless to all you over the top pill poppers "Drugs can and will Kill Ya"
listen to the things he was saying instead of the way he looked . He way pouring out his heart - straight from the heart , and all we can talk about is the way he messed up the song . At the end he finished in his regular style .....

By sauuufi 1131565976 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeto see a man with such talent, spiralling to oblivion. I've seen a couple comments below saying there were great singers below, during and after Elvis and yes there probably were but NONE of them had the "unique" voice he did.

By Masreyano 1130653591 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI love his voice and song too much. He's my childhood hero too.No singer could so perfect and famous like he does. I pitty him because he suffer alot. He's wife also never give understanding to him. I wish he could rest in piece with God. And I wish he could live again.

By Judyc 1121715021 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveEvery time I hear this overweight slob, referred to as the king, I think of Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
Only reason E was so successful was because he was a white man who sounded like he was a black man.
it's a shame how jealous and envious you are. i bet you don't even realize it. how small-minded and petty. i guess you think eminem is successful too because he's "sounding" black. is there anybody home? meanwhile, all the black rappers of any import recognize him as being at the TOP of "their" game, while others that deny his talent copy his style all day long. i shouldn't even comment though, because your "overweight slob" comment says to anyone reading that you are not a person to be taken with any seriousness.

By 1104798141 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis proves what I've said all along. He was a manufactured z lister. Look at the real Kings of rock and pop, who got there with sheer talent like Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, Lonnie Donnegan, the Big O, (Roy Orbison to you cretins, who, incidentally wrote songs for whatsisface who refused to perform live in England).
Europeans, get a life, use your brain, (if you still have one), and admit you have been conned by the Yanks AGAIN. That's if you have the nerve and guts.
Non believers please check my predictions and make your own mind up.

What a lot of crap you lot are spouting. He WAS NOT KING, it was all hype. There were better singers before him, while he was on the scene, and since he died.
GET REAL, GROW UP and for GOD'S SAKE, GET A LIFE.
You cannot tell he wasn't a good singer, I know a woman that was a fan of him when he was alive and she still loves he songs very much. When there is a film with Elvis she tries to watch it.
By the way you reacted I think that you should get a life- not the people who responed here.

You are bad you know that. He won't beat his wife without a reason.Don't be so cruel!
Anyone who knows ANYthing about Elvis knows that he's just making fun. He was bored with this lyrics and just played around. I have dozens of those jokes of ELvis and this particular part is from a great show where he did very well as usual. Typical example of taking things out of their context.
By GerEsther 1110504705 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenosto you realy are a moron to spate the gasrbage you have about Elvis. So you don't like him. That puts you in aminority it doesn't make you the wise guy.to call your self Nostrodamus is insulting the memory of the real man he was alot wiser than you .
The majority of comments abvout Elvis tells you he had a great talent that kept him above the rest.also their relating tohow much he was liked and loved . Could you do as much as him in your pitiful life.No you casn't so grow up and get a life .Don't spate garbage ok
Sane guy you have your opinion and you can keep it.
A lot of people liked him and thought him the best entertainer in the world of his time..
You can't deny his talent for it wouldn't have kept him where he was if he didn't have it.
Tere are people who worship him even though his dead.To them his music keeps him alive. How many artist can do that. To deminish his talent the way you have is stupidity . To say he had none is ridiculouse garbish.
So I sugest its you who gets a life. i bet you were still in nappies in Elvises era
F**k ELVIS I WOULD STILL SHAG THE ARSE OFF ERICA
