Bottom line these guys beat the tar out of one another. Don Fry swells both of Takayama's eyes shut and his corner throws in the towel. This was the championship fight. After he one he thanked the fans and said he was going home to his family. Awsome guy, increadible fight. Yes retired!

...This isn't K1, it's Pride Fighting Championship which is MMA (mixed martial arts - full contact fighting). I'm pretty sure the Yank is Dan Severn - a UFC veteran. If it is, he's certainly asking for retirement. That is the sloppiest, most useless stand up I've seen. It's school yard technique, not proffesional striking.

This was a fight with Don "The Predator" Frye vs. Yoshihiro Takayama. The victor was Don Frye by TKO. Although Yoshihiro Takayama lost, he was given great honors for standing up toe to toe with Don and making the match exciting for the audience. =)

in mma one has to be versed in ALL styles of fighting. an mma practicioner has to be GOOD in boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu,wrestling, and have heart enough to get beat hard with little 4 oz gloves. a regular kickboxer only has to concentrate on one style. so its obvious why mma-ists would lose. now tell me if the two meet on the street... who wins????
